FISH is seeking families, groups, neighborhoods or businesses to adopt a shelf of food and refill it once a month with either a recurring monetary donation or by purchasing the actual items. It takes multiple adoptions for each item. Most of our adoptive groups spend between $40 and $200 to restock their shelves. Click HERE for answers to frequently asked questions.
Our greatest ongoing needs are cooking oil, bottled juice, canned meat, jelly, large size diapers, and all personal care items.
It takes multiple adoptions for each shelf, so any donation would be greatly appreciated.
If you know which shelf you want to adopt, please click on “Sign Up for Shelf” click here.
When prompted “where do you want your donation directed” choose “Program” and direct funds to “Adopt a Shelf.”

If you do not need a receipt:
- Drop off items at FISH in the large blue bins on the north side of the building on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays between 9 AM and 5 PM.
- Drop off non-perishable items in the bins at any Broomfield King Soopers!
If you WANT or NEED a receipt:
- Drop off items on Thursdays between 8 AM and noon using the EAST SIDE donation door, located through our new winterized tents. Just be sure to find someone to weigh in your donation and record it at our kiosk.
