FISH provides a variety of family support services. Generally, we serve residents of Broomfield County who earn an annual income that is at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines. If you are interested in learning more or want to access services, please call 303-465-1600.
In 2018 FISH helped 173 families who needed transportation to sustain their livelihood. Transportation assistance includes help with gas cards, bus passes, or car repairs.
FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER SERVICES
FISH works directly with families to help them become self-sufficient and financially stable. Staff at FISH provide support, guidance, and referrals to our many community partner agencies.
FISH provided 1,069,737 pounds of food to more than 7,100 unduplicated Broomfield residents in 2019 so they would not go hungry. The majority were children, senior citizens, and those with a disability.
RENT AND UTILITY ASSISTANCE
In 2018 FISH helped 463 households avoid eviction and/or utility shut-off so they would have safe, warm shelter.
"BREAK FROM HUNGER"-MOBILE FOOD PANTRY
Join FISH, Community Food Share, and Discovery Church, on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month for the mobile food pantry at Centennial Elementary School from 2:30pm to 4:00pm. Children and their families can receive supplemental food and learn about community resources.
