This is a partial list of services that FISH provides.  Clients seeking assistance should come prepared to prove their residency, typically with a Broomfield water bill with their name on it.

FISH Services

We provide emergency assistance to those families who cannot provide for themselves, generally for up to six months.  Food is distributed on a monthly basis.

Food Assistance

For those residents facing eviction or foreclosure, and as funding is available, FISH may provide financial assistance to those who have a viable plan for making future payments themselves.

Shelter Assistance

For residents who are facing or have had their power or water service shut-off, and as funds are available, FISH may provide one-time financial assistance to restore service or prevent shutoff.

Utility Assistance

Where Broomfield residents are seeking employment, and do not have funding to travel to job interviews, FISH may be able to pay for transportation to job interviews.  Priority is given to clients working through Broomfield’s Workforce Center.
