Below are fundraising/food collection activities by members of the Broomfield community. Everyone at FISH is grateful for all of the help FISH receives. Other than the first, these are self-initiated by the organizations themselves. We love how broadly across the community our support comes. |

We were so honored to have about 370 members of our community turned out for our second annual fundraiser. Many were touched by the stories our clients and former clients shared. We deeply appreciate the $128,800 of donations and pledges we received this past Nov. 4th. If you want to attend next year, just leave us your contact info at (303) 460-6806. We’ll consider it an early reservation. |

Churches! Our Founding Ladies more than 48 years ago, were from a six of Broomfield’s churches. To this day, we enjoy broad support from many of our religious communities. While we are so thankful for the ongoing financial support and food drives over the years, we would be very remiss if we didn’t highlight those communities who have done so much for us in this past difficult year: Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church Broomfield United Methodist Church Cross of Christ Lutheran Church Broomfield United Church of Christ Risen Savior Lutheran Church Discovery Christian Church Episcopal Church of the Holy Comforter We look forward to developing closer relationships with other religious communities.

Hi there! I just wanted to take the time to thank your organization for what you did for me today. I am a very, very poor college student and part-time internship worker that is trying to focus my money on my bills. I was eating about once or twice a day. My parents are not supporting me any longer due to unforeseen medical bills and a divorce. When I came to the backdoor of the distribution building, I was amazed at the quality of the food I was given, and I am so thankful. I just wanted to let you guys know how wonderful I think you are. Keep up your selfless work. It is VERY much appreciated. E. |

Our thanks to The Denver Foundation for providing us a significant portion of our food purchases for 2010! |
