Emergency Plan

Broomfield FISH serves in an important role in the Emergency Plan of the City and County of Broomfield.  We maintain an emergency food supply in three locations in Broomfield.

Also, in the event that the City and County activates its Emergency Plan, FISH would serve as a clearinghouse of requests for volunteers and resources that the City and County may need from the community.  This page would serve as one of several methods used to ask the community for assistance, specific items or other resources.  FISH also maintains lists of contacts to churches, schools, service organizations, and other provider organizations like FISH, in order to bring additional volunteers and other resources bear in the event of an emergency situation.

Simultaneously, the Broomfield Community Foundation serves as the depository for all money donated in relief or support.
